Ice Hockey
The Wentzville Holt Hockey club is dedicated to represent our school with integrity and respect our opponents, our teammates and the game of hockey. It's the club's desire to use hockey as a tool to help develop responsible young men and women during their high school hockey career!
Our club fields both a Varsity and B Team from Wentzville Holt.
Ages
What aged players are appropriate for this program?
Players in 7th to 10th grade are eligible to play on the B Team
Players in 9th to 12th grade are eligible to play on the Varsity team.
All players ages 17 and older must take the USA Hockey SafeSport online training.
When
What time of the year do these programs run?
Varsity Regular Season: The season begins in September and runs until playoffs in February.
B Team Regular Season: The season begins in February and runs through May.
Where
Where are practices and games typically held?
Practices and home games are held at the Wentzville Ice Arena. Games may be played across the metro region.
Practices
When are practices and how often are they?
Varsity teams practice 2 times per week, Monday's at 7:10pm and Wednesday's at 6:00pm.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
Varsity team typically plays one game a week starting in November and playoffs beginning in February.
B Team will begin practice in February.
Uniforms
Are uniforms provided or are they purchased separately?
Club uniforms(jersey, socks, pant shells) are required and may be purchased once rostered.
Effective 2025 neck guards are to be worn by all players on ice, per USA Hockey.

Tryout cost is $50

Make sure your player has a current USA Hockey Registration for the 2026-2027 season. A current USA Hockey Registration number is REQUIRED at time of registration.
