Varsity Ice Try-outs

What aged players are appropriate for this program?

Players in 7th to 10th grade are eligible to play on the B Team

Players in 9th to 12th grade are eligible to play on the Varsity team.

All players ages 18 and older must take the USA Hockey SafeSport online training.

What time of the year do these programs run?

Varsity Regular Season: The season begins in September and runs until playoffs in February.

B Team Regular Season: The season begins in February and runs through May.

Where are practices and games typically held?

Practices and home games are held at the Wentzville Ice Arena. Games may be played across the metro region.

When are practices and how often are they?

Varsity teams practice 2 times per week, Monday's at 7:10pm and Thursday's at 6:00pm.

*Monday's at 7:10 and Wednesday's at 6:00 starting September of 2025.

How many games will they play? What days of the week?

Varsity team typically plays one game a week starting in November and playoffs beginning in February.

B Team will begin practice in February.

Are uniforms provided or are they purchased separately?

Club uniforms(jersey, socks, pant shells) are required and may be purchased once rostered.

Effective 2025 neck guards are to be worn by all players on ice, per USA Hockey.
